I am an author & illustrator,
and an art teacher too.

I am a curator
of nurturing & cultivating
the stories of others.

Making books for children is my life’s work,
but it’s also much deeper than that for me.

Children’s books heal the soul,

the inner child inside us all.

They redeem what is lost, save what remains,

and have the power to protect a child from a society

who forgets how important they are.

I make books for kids because the world needs to know itself

through the light and love of children.

 

I believe they’re here to teach us & heal us.
